Ep. 1 - Arrival

It's been years I haven't see Baba. It was after we moved to this big city with Mama and that moment I still don't understand why. I was just 7 when Baba said goodbye to me, to us. We did writes to each other but I can't remember when was the last time I hold his hand.

Mama left for her business trip and here I am, just arrived in this small airport of a small town where Baba live happily with his new family; aunt Ummi and Afia, my 12 years old adorable half-sister. Because I just finished my first semester of college, Mama wants me to spend my holiday with Baba and I think this might be a very good idea.

Baba looks older than I remember. But he looks happy. Thanks to aunt Ummi for filling up his life when Mama and I can't do the best for him. I know aunt Ummi is a good lady since I first met her when Mama told me that Baba got a new wife and I shall call her auntie. She's not a typical step-mother that most fairy tales taught us (how funny). And Afia, my one and only sister from different mother. She was still a toddler last time I met her. She must be very beautiful now.

The breeze touches my face softly welcoming me to the town. Along the drive, aunt Ummi shows me few places of the town. Quite small and quiet. There's only few blocks of shops, post office, police station, a big white mosque and a very light traffic. Not much. They looks totally different from the city where I lived. I don't think their kids having any bad influence here which I think its suitable place to build a family.

Home, nice moderate house. They have prepared my own room. Cute and adorable. They placed few old photos of mine when I was still a little girl right next to the table lamp of my bed. It was me and Mama during Baba's birthday. I missed the moment.

After dinner, Afia stayed at my room. We talks a lot about how's our lives going on. She's such a very adorable 12 years old girl. I am glad I have such a beautiful sister like her. Thank you so much aunt Ummi.

My friends were so excited about my trip to Baba's and they have been asking too much about hows the small town going on. Its not as bad as they thought though. It so sad when some of your friends sounds like teasing to something that we interested to. Who cares anyway?

Good night, Haya. I miss you Mama.
